Doppler Finance Raises $3m to lead the XRPfi ecosystem
Today, we’re excited to share a major milestone on our journey: Doppler Finance has secured a $3m seed round led by Reforge, an early stage blockchain and frontier tech investment firm. Other participants include global leaders, amongst others: DCG, Maven 11, Hashkey Capital, GSR, CMCC Global’s Titan Fund, Keyrock, Tenity, CRIT USA, Cluster Capital, Flowdesk, Auros and G20.
The XRPfi Opportunity
Over the last year, XRP has entered the global spotlight, unsurprisingly ranked amongst the top three most‑traded digital assets. Yet for all the renewed excitement, holders still have nowhere to deploy their capital natively on‑chain.The result is an estimated $200 billion in idle XRP, mostly parked on exchanges or in cold wallets, earning nothing while the broader DeFi economy compounds.
How big is the gap?
- Ethereum’s ~$460 billion market cap supports roughly $85 billion in DeFi TVL, about one dollar in five, working natively on‑chain.
- XRP’s ~$200 billion market cap, by contrast, anchors < $100 million in TVL, less than 0.1 % of its value actually earning yield on the XRP Ledger.
